Your Newborn Session Experience
A new baby is a very special blessing. These precious babies grow so quickly, and we soon forget how tiny they were. That is why I love newborn photography and feel it is so important to capture amazing images for you to treasure forever. I have a home studio that I use for my newborn sessions. You have access to all my props, blankets and outfits. I encourage parents to bring any special toy, outfit or other family items that they would like to incorporate in the session.
Please allow 2-3 hours for your newborn session, and at least another 1/2 hour if we add family. I understand that little ones may need extra time for feeding, changing or just cuddling. I have a flexible session time to work with your little one's schedule to be sure we get just the right images!
Newborn sessions are best when baby is 3-6 days old. They are still very sleepy and can be posed easily. After booking I will send you a sheet with instructions on how to prepare for your session.
I will schedule an in studio viewing session within 2-3 weeks after session to place your order.

Make your day more relaxing by having your hair and makeup done by a licensed
cosmetologist (licensed as an operator and instructor).
Come with clean hair and face, and prepare to be pampered for your portrait session.
This option is offered as an add on for $40 for maternity and newborn sessions, pending availability.
Newbee Session
My “Newbee Session” is for the parent who wants just newborn portraits. I will have a phone consultation with you to discuss details of the session, discuss any special request and answer any questions or concerns you may have. This session can include parents and siblings.
The “Newbee Session” is $575 and includes:
v 2-3 hour session
v $425 credit toward print order
v Pre-session consultation (over phone)
v Access to all my props and posing accessories
v Retouching newborn skin to help reduce red spots/jaundice/dry skin on any image ordered.
v Digital file of each image purchased.
v One in studio viewing appointment
Timeless Newbee Session
My “Timeless Newbee Session” is for the parent who wants to capture this miraculous time from maternity to newborn. Your session will include a full newborn session and a 90 minute maternity session.
The “Timeless Newbee Session” is $650 and includes:
v Full Newborn Session (with print credit of $425)
v 90 minute maternity session (use of my maternity gowns)
v Digital file of each image purchased
v One in studio viewing appointment
DELUXE NEWBEE PACKAGE
My “Deluxe Newbee Package” captures the beauty of your maternity and your newborn baby throughout their first year. We will photograph your little one in their tiny, sleepy newborn phase, crawling, sitting up, and celebrating their first exciting birthday in a full family session!
The “Deluxe Newbee Package” is $1,295 and includes:
A newborn session, 90 minute maternity session, plus 3 one-hour sessions during your baby’s first 12 months to take place at 3-5 months (can hold head up without assistance), 6-9 months (can sit without assistance) and third (1 year or can stand without assistance). Third session is a full family session**. Credit and print choices can be used from any session(s).
v $500 credit toward print order
v Two 11x14 Canvas prints
v One 11x14 collage print (4 images - one of baby from each session)
v Digital file of each image purchased
v Up to 4 in studio viewing appointments for package.
**Third session must be completed no later than baby’s 16th month.
MATERNITY SESSIONS
Maternity sessions are best around 32-35 weeks when your belly is nice and big, but you are still relatively comfortable. I have a selection of beautiful maternity gowns in various colors and styles for you to use. I will discuss with you the concept of your session and location that you would like. Session can be outside or in my studio. You will have time to change during your session and rest, if needed. Please be sure and schedule your session as early as possible to assure the desired date.
Rescheduling information for maternity sessions: In case of illness I will do whatever I can to reschedule your session before your delivery. If a new date cannot be scheduled before delivery, or in case of early delivery, I will be happy to apply your session fee toward a future portrait session of your choice (can be used toward newborn session fee). The rescheduled session must be within 3 months of original session date.
Maternity Session (only) - $325 includes:
- 90 Minute Session
- $200 credit toward print order
- Pre-session consultation (over the phone)
- Use of my maternity gowns
- Session can include father/siblings. It is highly recommended that when having a young child included in session that someone come with you to supervise them while we concentrate on getting the perfect belly shots of you!
